LOL I work at Intel (Costa Rica)..and surprise surprise we have the lovely grey wall and grayish blue carpet and my cube is near f10 XD...I did laugh a lot..at this I hope some day maybe we\'ll get the \"pretty colors\"
Thanks to Conan, we all get free sodas now! The cubes still haven\'t changed. But hey, why waste money on cube redesign. I\'d rather pocket that money and work in a dull ugly cube.
From a green badger...intel started \"experimenting\" with a new setting for their cubicals... the models look great but we\'ll see how much they actually implement of this new friendly setting... plus thus far they\'ve only done it in one floor out of their dozens of buildings... probably wont go anywhere
I have never been inside an Intel fab, but did 6 years in other parts of Intel. Some people might not quite get the Conan tour, but anyone who has worked for the company will completely relate, and fall down laughing!
\"\"where the sons and daughters of green badges can sit with the sons and daughters of blue badges at the table of prosperity. i have a dream....\"HAHAHA Intel does that too?? I work for Chevron Corporation and we have the exact same Blue/Green badge structure. We even use the same colors. ..etc\"Wow. I worked for Aramco (Saudi oil company) and they have the same exact colors and structure. I guess the SOCAL companies all inherited the same badge color-based discrimination system haha.
"hes a poor copy of hard gay"For those of you who don't know what this guy is talking about, 'hard gay' is a character done by a Japanese comedian. He visits places like Yahoo! Japan (I think their corporate HQ) wearing a leatherman outfit and does pelvic thrusts at people. Here he is at Yahoo!http://youtube.com/watch?v=DDMi1vAQVXg
Intel has had trouble defining their brand personality for years. Conan's video should provide all the insight necessary to break the mold. And he did it in a week.
