\"But in an equasion where 39 digits are present it would take over 65,944 tries to get into the lock so in fact your method is wrong good sir\"actually, he narrows it down from that number... so your statement is wrong good sir
I believe this only works for Masterlock because I\'ve got a CASEHARD padlock and it\'s not working... unless I am doing the steps incorrectly. There was a previous comment about the third number being the first number to the combination for Casehard; how did he/she figure out the rest of the combination?
For all of you skeptics out there - I just found a lock that I forgot the combination to and this system worked. It helped that I had used this lock a few years ago so once I had the 3rd number figured out I started trying familiar sequences and got it open on my second try. Thanks for the info, saved me five bucks for a new lock!
Um... the possibilites for the third digit on my lock were 2, 9, 19, 29, 39 which should make the third combination a 2. Wrong... it's 9. Something's wrong with the method.
