This is hardly proof that Dane Cook steals material. He just happened to tell three jokes about similar subjects as Lois CK. Watch Comic Remix on Comedy Central and you\'ll see comics doing stuff like this all the time.
louis ck sucks...i\'ve heard all dane cooks stuff multiple times and still laugh...louis\' ****** was weak sauce right off the bat. not funny at all. i don\'t care if he used these jokes to write his own, they were 10 years old but 100 times better
dood.f*** you seriously.dane cook is the effink sh*t.ever consider he may not have heard that before he made his skit?srsly. coincidences do happen.its life man.get over yourself. dont put down someone because he can get laid more then you.
The difference in stand-up comedy and a research papers is that, in a paper, you have to site the material that any ideas came from. If you choose not to, it is plagiarism. I'm not too familiar with the comic that was stolen from, but if all the dates check out, that is plagiarism. It is unfortunate, because Dane Cook is a great deliverer of jokes, but stealing is stealing. However, most people won't believe this because they are such Dane Cook fans.
he didnt steal it... there similure , thats for sure, but there not identical...at all. Why would dane cook write his own material for 17 years, then plagerize 3 jokes? for fun?
"That's not proof. I'm like 90% sure the FIRST clip actually ripped off dane. I listen/watch a LOT of standup comedy; and a lot of comics steal stuff, dane isnt one i've ever seen steal anything."All these bits are from louis' hbo standup from 92, dane's are from 2002.Cook was even in the audience of one of the hbo specials louis did
how the hell is that stealing? number one: they are not very similar.
2-dane cook is much funnier in his delivery
3- all jokes are the same in ALL comics, just different delivery
4shut up and appreciate
No they aren't random, and it's irrefutable proof. Especially on the second clip, Louis Ck had been performing that bit for like 10 years, and Dane just barely changed the words.
I wouldnt call that stealing, more like a basis to create your own jokes from. It's like when you write a research paper, you find other people's ideas and thoughts, and create your own from that, which isn't stealing. Stealing would be if he copied it 100% with no differences what so ever.
