no.6 double long spring, more for large predators (Lion,tiger etc) than bear, but it will work, Real bear traps are much larger and in fact were origionally designed to catch poachers on the kings land,and the WILL easily break a mans leg.(they didn't care if you had a broken leg when they hung you)
the first several traps were just small animal traps usually used on a fur trap-line for things like foxes and minks.the second in the studio was a genuine bear trap, and he is incredibly lucky his radius and/or ulna wasn't shattered. or one of the spikes went into his wrist and severed somethingbloody idiots through and through
Uhh, did you see the 2nd trap in the radio studio at the very end of this clip? That's a frikkin huge one with inch-long spikes. Maybe no good for bears but it sure f***ed that guy's wrist up.
